A Varling is an inhabitant of any Var, or world that is formed by its connection to Griddish using The Slipshot. The Vars that the Slipshot series is concerned with are Var 7 and Var 8, also known as Farth and Earth. Both Var 7 and Var 8 are a member of the Beauty World classification invented by Matere Sonngaard.
